The Audi RS 4 is the highest performance version of the A4, sitting above the S4 in the lineup and offering an uncompromising driving experience. Previously only offered as a sedan, it is now also available in a limited-production two-door Cabriolet body style for 2008. At the heart of the race-bred RS 4 is a high-revving 420 hp 4.2-liter V8 engine featuring FSI direct fuel injection. A six-speed manual transmission and Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system transfer power to the ground. Exclusive standard features include Dynamic Ride Control, 19-inch alloy wheels, adaptive headlights and carbon fiber interior trim elements. Options for the RS 4 Sedan include a Bose audio system, six-disc CD changer, navigation system and heated rear seats; these features are standard on the Cabriolet. The RS 4 Sedan is a carryover from the 2007 model year; for 2008, a Cabriolet version joins the lineup. All RS 4 Sedans get standard satellite radio and Bluetooth wireless connectivity for 2008, along with two new packages: a Titanium Package and an Audi Exclusive Package.
