The Maserati GranTurismo is a four-passenger Italian exotic grand touring sport coupe. A new-for-2009 S trim features more power and distinctive exterior modifications. The GranTurismo is powered by a 405 horsepower 4.2-liter V8 engine with a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission, while the GranTurismo S' 4.7-liter V8 puts out 433 horsepower with a 6-speed sequential manual with MC-Shift paddle shifters. An electronically-controlled Skyhook suspension, standard on the base model and optional on the S, automatically adjusts to the conditions of the road. Standard features include Brembo brakes, directionally-adaptive bi-xenon headlights, heated power sport seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors and a Bose sound system with hard drive and navigation system. A wide variety of alloy wheels, brake caliper colors, and leather and wood trims are available. The Maserati GranTurismo was all-new in 2008, and the S is a new trim for 2009.
