Famous for its retro styling, Chrysler's PT Cruiser combines an unmistakably classic look with modern performance, efficiency, and practical features. The PT Cruiser comes in LX, Touring, and Limited trims. The LX and Touring PT Cruisers are powered by a 150-hp 2.4-liter, twin-cam four-cylinder engine. The Limited is driven by a 180-hp turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. A five-speed manual transmission is standard for the LX, with an optional four-speed automatic, while a four-speed automatic is standard on the Touring and Limited trims. Touring models feature stain resistant low-back cloth bucket seats, while the Limited features luxurious leather bucket seats. Multi-stage front airbags and air-conditioning are standard. For 2009, Chrysler has dropped the convertible version.
