The Suzuki Grand Vitara is a solid choice among compact SUVs. It's suitable for anyone who wants off-road capability or needs to manage the daily drive in a comfortable, competent manner. For 2011, Suzuki has dropped the V6 engine and the XSport trim. The 2011 Grand Vitara is offered in three trims: Base, Premium, and Limited. The standard engine is a 166-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder available with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard and Suzuki's 4-Mode, full-time 4WD system with transfer case lock and low-range is optional. Safety features include side-impact and side-curtain airbags, 4-wheel ventilated disc anti-lock brakes, and an electronic stability system with traction control. An integrated navigation system with Lane Assist and 3D graphic view is standard on all trims and alloy wheels and Bluetooth are available features. The 2011 Suzuki Grand Vitara carries over from 2010.
